Terms of use

Yomiom connects wellness retreat leaders with owners of venues suited to their practice, and provides tools to publish retreats, manage registrations and secure payments.

Creating an account is free. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.

Yomiom acts as a technical intermediary. The retreat contract is concluded between the retreat leader, the participants and, where applicable, the venue owner. Yomiom is not a party to that contract and does not organise the retreats.

You undertake to publish accurate information about your retreat, to hold the qualifications and insurance required for your practice, and to comply with the legal obligations applicable to you, in particular consumer and tourism law in the country where the retreat takes place.

Registration and publication are free. Yomiom charges a 4% commission on the teaching share of each confirmed booking. Payment processing fees are included in this commission.

Payments are processed by our partner Stripe. Revenue is automatically split between the accommodation share, paid to the venue owner, and the teaching share, paid to the retreat leader.

Cancellation conditions are set by the retreat leader and the venue and are displayed before booking. Yomiom applies those conditions and refunds the corresponding amounts when they apply.

You retain ownership of the content you publish and grant Yomiom a licence to display it on the platform and in its communications. Unlawful, misleading or infringing content is prohibited.

Yomiom provides the platform on a best-efforts basis. It cannot be held liable for the performance of retreats, the accuracy of information supplied by users, or damage resulting from misuse of the service.

You may close your account at any time. Yomiom may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, after notice where possible.

Personal data is processed as described in our privacy policy, in line with the GDPR.

Yomiom may update these terms. Users are informed of significant changes by email or on the platform.

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, after an attempt at amicable settlement by writing to hello@yomiom.com.
